According to https://www.fueleconomy.gov the v8 Land Rover mileage is pretty miserable.
When new it was tested in the USA:
City: 12 mpg (in Australia that is 10 mpg)
Highway: 16 mpg (in Australia that is 10 mpg)
Combined 14 mpg (in Australia that is 11.6 mpg)
And according to users the average user gets 9.2 mpg
In Australia that is 7.7mpg or 25 liters/100kms!
Even if we get an improvement of 35% it would still not be considered a green vehicle!
